By booking services with Hound Fields, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services & General Care
Hound Fields agrees to provide dog walking services, field hire, and transport with reasonable care and skill in accordance with UK standards. While all care is taken, dogs are entirely at the Owner’s risk unless injury or loss is caused by proven negligence.
2. Dog Suitability
- Dogs must be non-aggressive and non-disruptive to attend group walks.
- Dogs in season are not permitted on group walks.
- Hound Fields reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a dog is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
- Users must inspect the field on arrival to make sure it is suitable for your dog before letting your dog/s off the lead, in particular the height and size of the fence. The holes in the mesh fence are approximately 15cm square.
- If your dog is an XL Bully, you must provide your exemption certificate to the following email address: aysha@houndfields.co.uk before your booking/s for field hire or walking services. Failure to do this will unfortunately result in a cancelled booking.
3. Health, Allergies & Special Needs
- Owners must disclose all medical conditions, allergies, behavioural issues, and special needs before services commence.
- Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments.
- Dogs must be provided with weather-appropriate clothing (e.g. coats in cold/wet conditions). Hound Fields is not responsible for discomfort or illness caused by inadequate equipment.
4. Group, Off-Lead Walks & Field Services
- Group allocation is at the discretion of Hound Fields.
- Dogs will only be allowed off lead with the Owner’s explicit permission.
- Any dog permitted off lead does so entirely at the Owner’s responsibility, and Hound Fields accepts no liability for loss, injury, or damage resulting from off-lead walking.
- Please ensure all dog/s are kept on a lead until your dog is safely and securely within the field.
- You agree to ensure all dog poo and toys are removed to ensure the field is in a safe and clean condition for the next users.
- Your field session includes time to safely enter and leave the field. Please allow enough time to unload your dog, access and enjoy the field, then safely leave the field and load back into your vehicle within your allocated time slot.
- Do not get dogs out of vehicles until the dog/s from the previous session is safely loaded into their vehicle.
- Ensure the gate is closed and locked immediately upon entering and leaving the field.
- Please leave the field as you find it. We would like it to be a safe, clean and tidy place for you and your dogs to enjoy.
5. Pick-Up & Drop-Off
- Where owners are not present, access arrangements are provided entirely at the Owner’s discretion.
- Hound Fields is not liable for loss, damage, escape, or property issues arising from pick-ups or drop-offs when no one is home.
6. Payments & Cancellations
- All payments must be made in advance. No payment = no pick-up or access to services.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled appointment or service will be charged in full, regardless of reason.
- No refunds will be given for not attending your booked session, and no extension is allowed for arriving late.
7. Veterinary Emergencies
In the event of illness or injury, Hound Fields will attempt to contact the Owner. If unreachable, the Owner authorises Hound Fields to seek veterinary treatment. All veterinary costs remain the Owner’s responsibility.
8. Liability
The Owner accepts full responsibility for any damage, injury, or loss caused by their dog to people, animals, or property. Hound Fields is not liable for incidents unless caused by proven negligence.
All vehicles are parked at own risk.
No responsibility will be taken by the owners for damage or injury to property, animals or individuals whilst using the field or on the property.
Please adhere to the safety notices at all times to keep you and your dogs safe.
9. Amendments
Hound Fields reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
